In the previous message, we looked at the responsibility we all have in living with and operating around God's power. This week, we show where anyone can start in this encounter with the wonder-working power of God.

The power to heal, the power to speak prophetic words, the power to enact miracles - all of these powers originate with God. But God will not force his miraculous gifts upon anyone. We must receive them and then give them out in obedience. God will supply the power, but this message explores what we must supply in the realm of powerful ministry.

As we look at all the ways in which God must partner with us, perhaps the most critical has to do with holiness/sanctification. This message explores the mechanics of how we become more holy through a partnership with God.

This is simply a continuation of the school of intercession with an emphasis on evangelism.

Just as there are several things that contribute to our spiritual being becoming sleepy, there are also several ways we can cure this condition. The act of submitting to God is more than just an act of obedience - it also warms up that cold place in our hearts which has gone dead from disuse.

All of us who want to get closer to God and experience God's voice and presence need to focus on who we spend time with in life. If we are surrounding ourselves with nurturing, healthy people, it will cause more growth to happen than if our influences are from unhealthy people.

In this December 10 teaching from the School of Intercession, we focus on how we can dramatically impact people's lives who do not have a relationship with God. There are actually five ways addressed in this seminar:

As we continue to look at the cures for Spiritual Sleepiness, we encounter the gentlest cure of them all: The Cure of Thanksgiving.

A soul-tie can be defined as two people linking to each other through shared emotional connections, shared experiences and similar shared values. God said that it is good we not be alone, but too many soul-ties (and especially soul ties that result from sin) will actually drive us away from God and cause Spiritual Sleepiness to get worse.

Many of the factors which lead to a person having Spiritual Sleepiness result from bad choices. But there is one factor which doesn't seem to involve bad choices: An absent father. But the effect it has on a child regarding our relationship with God is a choice. Today we explore this contributing factor to some spiritual sleepiness.

Some people make those burdens worse...but there are some people who help to lift the burdens off others. When you learn to deal with your own loads, you can help the people who cannot get out from underneath.

Most Christians, when asked, assume that the reference to the "flesh" in the Bible refers to sin. But there is a lot to the flesh that may seem virtuous, godly and reverent...and still be in the flesh. This is a contrast study between the Flesh and the Spirit. Who will win?

We most often think of "service" jobs as the lowest rung on the corporate job ladder. But in God's Kingdom, service is the key to fulfillment and happiness. Though we may admit that the Bible says this, we often don't really believe it. This message focuses on how this is practically true and can be lived by all quite effectively.

The book of Galatians focuses on the dangers of adding laws and rules to the essentials of the Gospel message. But we also run the risk of allowing our freedom to head into territory that is unsafe, unwise and unhealthy. How can a believer find a balance between legalism and unsafe behavior? This message answers that question.

The energy we expend daily is running thin. Perhaps this is because too many things are now vying for a share of that energy. Not only that, but at the last minute, crises and calls for help can max out our energy resource pool. This message takes a look at how to start getting a handle on this crisis.

At one time or another, all of these have been used as reasons to exclude people from Christianity.
